Former Manchester City striker Adebayor recently spoke to the British media about Harry Kane, who moved from Tottenham to Bayern this summer.

Adebayor said, “Tottenham is a great team, but I think Kane made a wise choice to leave them, he needed a new environment and challenge. Every season, Kane scores 30-40 goals but doesn’t win a trophy.”

“At Bayern, they aspire to compete for the Champions League every year and Kane is now a legendary player in the Premier League, but he has to look at what he has achieved. We were all surprised that he didn’t pick up a trophy during his career at Tottenham, which is a shame.”

Adebayor also emphasized, “If Kane had scored 30 goals every season and won the Bundesliga and the Champions League, he would have been in contention for the Ballon d’Or. It’s time for him to fight for the trophy.”
